Havana Nights 2009

Business Buddies Tampa hosted their 2nd Annual "Havana Nights" on Saturday, July 18, 2009 from 7pm to 11pm at the Tampa Bay History Center. This event raised over $18,000 and brought in a grand total of 350 attendees! This Latin themed social and business networking event was held at an exciting waterfront venue new to the Channelside district. A live Latin band, along with a martini bar and a variety of passed hors d’oeuvres were some of the special features of the night. A cigar roller was available to roll fresh cigars and there were a variety of casino games to indulge in, which included Blackjack, Poker, Roulette, Slots and Craps. Great prizes were awarded to the top three casino winners and a fabulous silent auction was held throughout the evening. The event was a huge success and all the proceeds raised went directly to help support local programs for Best Buddies Tampa.

Havana Nights 2008

Business Buddies Tampa hosted “Havana Nights” on Saturday, May 17, 2008 from 7pm to 11pm at The Towers of Channelside. This event raised over $16,000 and brought in a grand total of 270 attendees! This Latin themed social and business networking event was held poolside where all enjoyed an evening outside under the stars. Live Latin music played and a variety of hors d'oeuvres from local Latin restaurants were served all night. A cigar roller was available to roll fresh cigars and there were a variety of casino games to indulge in, which included Blackjack, Poker, Roulette, Slots and Craps. Great prizes were awarded to the top four winners and a helicopter tour created a special tournament for the more experienced gamblers. The event was a huge success and all the proceeds raised went directly to help support local programs for Best Buddies Tampa.
