About Business Buddies & Best Buddies

Business Buddies Tampa is a social and networking opportunity for young professionals that benefits Best Buddies Tampa Bay. Funds raised at the monthly events go towards Best Buddies local programs in Tampa Bay that provide vital socialization opportunities for children and adults with intellectual disabilities to have a friend; some for the very first time.

Business Buddies Tampa is coordinated by a committee of young professionals who create, plan and market monthly events that promise a great time as well as raise awareness and fund for Best Buddies Tampa Bay. All monthly events are held on a weekday evening, with admission including drink specials, food and raffle prizes. All contributions are tax-deductible. As a local business, this is an opportunity to not only become involved in your community, but also to market yourself and connect with other businesses and potential consumers.

Because of Business Buddies Tampa's success, Best Buddies has been able to utilize these monthly networking events as a means to grow exposure and awareness for Best Buddies Tampa Bay. Business Buddies events are a great way to help recruit volunteers, sponsors and community contacts for the Best Buddies programs. Business Buddies is the only networking group in the Tampa Bay area that has been created by a nonprofit organization to raise money to support the local programs in the area.

Best Buddies mission is to establish a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
